Teddy
Kaye has been a professional singer for over 35 years and is currently
living and working in Las Vegas, Nevada. He
was born and raised on Chicago's south side and spent nineteen
years performing in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Mr. Kaye has
been around the world more than once, working in Europe, Singapore
and other countries. Being single affords many aspects on life. Teddy
loves being around his family: sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins
and of course- his mom back in Chicago.
Dad George was a songwriter/singer
and his sister Francesca is a professional singer in Chicago plus
doing special concerts and shows. Teddy's whole family is musically
inclined.
Music is his whole life. Teddy was educated
at the
American Conservatory of Music in Chicago and holds an Associate
of Arts Degree in Business from Richard J. Daley College and a
BPH from Northwestern University in Radio, TV, and Film Communications.
Some
of his stage credits include Pal Joey, Guys and Dolls, Music Man
and many more. Teddy worked with Punchinello (musical comedy team)
and as a single/duo at The Sheridan Yankee Clipper Hotel for over
15 years in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He has worked
with various bands in various cities from the mid-west to
California till entering the military in 1966.
Teddy Kaye's ancestry
is Italian and Greek and he is grateful and ultimately proud to
be an American. He also is proud to be a Viet Nam Veteran.
